Donations to Gateway
Gateway’s Foundation for Hospice Care has been established for
the purpose of accepting gifts from those who would like to show tangible
appreciation for hospice services. Such gifts are then used to benefit health
care agencies and sponsor activities, workshops, in-services, and conferences in the community.
For example:
- Community education on hospice, death and dying, grief and loss, and bereavement
- Donations to state and national hospice organizations
- Donations to oncology departments and research hospitals
- Heart and cancer foundations
- AIDS awareness and education
- Support of programs funding indigent health care, burial expenses, etc.
- First time educational conference “Families in Transition”
Thus, donations from the families and friends of
patients served by Gateway Hospice have made it possible to support programs as:
- American Cancer Society
- Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- Children’s Hospital Family Assistance Fund
- Alzheimer’s Association
- AIDS Taskforce
- Spencer’s Treasures: “The Joy of a Simple Toy”
- Muscular Dystrophy Association
- Area Hospitals: Pediatric Bereavement Materials
- Related Community and Civic organizations
It is our families’ spoken, and often unspoken, thanks that are our greatest rewards.
To make a donation, please print this donation form and mail it along with
